Sutter's Fort After Dark

Take a trip back in time during "Sutter's Fort After Dark," a special one-night-only tour program at Sutter's Fort State Historic Park in Sacramento.

Visitors to the fort are guided through the candlelit rooms and courtyards of the park by costumed members of the park's living history program.

Beneath the glow of candlelight, "eavesdrop" on the conversations and tales of the pioneers living at Captain John Sutter's fort in "New Helvetia" (now known as midtown Sacramento) in 1846.
