Swedish Christmas Fair

Come to Saint Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco for the annual Swedish Christmas Fair, presented by the Swedish Women's Educational Association. Festivities include live folk music, traditional dancers, and St. Lucia pageants. Enjoy traditional snacks such as open-faced sandwiches, saffron bread, Swedish waffles, and cups of steaming glogg (mulled wine) as you peruse booths full of handmade crafts and ornaments. Children can enjoy a crafts area, a traditional fiskdammen (fish pond) with lots of surprise catches, gingerbread decorating, and -- of course -- a visit from Tomten (Santa Claus).
