Always on the lookout for a frothy cappucino and a fun atmosphere? The new cafe at the Fisherman's Wharf youth hostel offers both of these in a stunning setting overlooking the San Francisco bay. Come to read a book, talk travel with the hostel guests, or just watch the boats crusie back and forth under the Golden Gate Bridge.

Cafe Franco, named after one of the hostel's long-term employees, is open everyday from 7:30 to 11:30am and from 5:30 to 11:30pm serving pastries and espresso drinks. International travelers make up the majority of the clientele, except for on acoustic music evenings when people come from all over town.
