HI-Marin Headlands wheelchair accessible Sustainable Living Center

HI-Marin Headlands sits on a hillside in the Marin Headlands section of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. The turn-of-the-century buildings at Fort Barry are surrounded by beaches, forests and rolling hills. The Rodeo Lagoon and Beach provide an abundance of wildlife and native plant life to study. Scenic trails are available at Mount Tamalpais State Park, Muir Woods National Monument, and in the Marin Headlands. The hostel has expanded into a second building to provide more couples and family rooms.
