About Dexter Danger
Dexter Danger was born in San Francisco in 2001 in true D.I.Y. fashion, utilizing creative internet networking techniques to gather a vast local fan base that allowed them to sell out all-ages venues and youth centers in the Bay Area. Their live performances gained a reputation among promoters, and soon they were performing at such venues as Slim’s, The Great American Music Hall, and The Pound, and as word of mouth spread, at the 2002 Vans Warped Tour. Since then they have released four CDs, embarked on several national tours, had tracks on mainstream and college radio, and been featured on the Budweiser True Music series for HDNet.

“Part emo, part punk-rock, this one’s definitely for the kids. All fans of AFI, Green Day, take notice. This could be your next big discovery.” -AMP Magazine

About Pleasure Trip
Rising from the ashes of Vegas DeMilo, the critically acclaimed power-pop band from San Francisco, guitarist Brad Wait formed Pleasure Trip in December 2005. The band has a defining sound that mixes modern day angst and youthful energy with chord arrangements and melodies reminiscent of 60s pop and the British invasion, with honest, introspective lyrics about love, hope, loss, and longing.

About Index:A
Formed in 2004 in Oakland, California, Index:A is vocalist Seth Heitzmann, bassist Scott Proctor, guitarist Eric Warner, and drummer Phil Hodges. The band combines seasoned musicianship with a fresh take on the rock genre. No gimmicks, nothing retro-instead, Index:A offers tightly executed, melody-driven songs fueled by a compelling, modern energy.

About Maria Kizirian
Maria Kizirian is a Finland-born rock singer and songwriter whose first real gig, while still in her teens, was singing for the opening act band for Deep Purple and Bad Religion at a large festival in Europe. She has recently released a solo pop record on EMI Finland.

About The Hooks
Recently transplanted to the Bay Area from Ireland, brothers Keith and Ronan Mulligan (guitars and vocals) have been joined by new members, drummer Colin Delaney and bassist Willie Gregory. While still in Ireland, the band reached the finals of the 2003 IMRO Showcase and the 2003 O2 New Band Competition, and won the Hot Press Song of The Fortnight with “All Across The World.”

Bands That Rock is presented by Ripstar-uniting artists and audiences thru music. Bands and visual artists send submissions to 806 Moultrie Street, San Francisco, CA 94110.
