You’re Invited: Haunted Hostel Halloween at Point Montara Lighthouse (Oct. 30)

For eight spooky years, little ghouls, goblins, and their families have flocked to the Point Montara Lighthouse Hostel for the annual Haunted Hostel Halloween festival.

It’s truly a sight to see, as one of the world’s most picturesque hostels is transformed into a Hallow’s Eve playland, with games, crafts, live entertainment, tricks, treats, and magical creature mayhem.

Get down to the kid-pleasing sounds of Les Monstres, and enjoy Halloween-themed crafts, activities, and an audience-participation puppet theater. Be sure to say hello to the hostel’s resident dragon, a 30-foot-tall papier-mache creature handcrafted by hostel manager Christopher S. Bauman.

Children and grown-ups alike are encouraged to show off their Halloween best, so dust off your costumes and bring the whole brood to this annual monster mash!
