Nihonmachi Street Fair

Held annually in San Francisco's Japantown, the Nihonmachi Street Fair is a two-day celebration of Asian American culture.
In 1973, this festival started off as a small four-booth commemoration of cultural heritage and platform for community outreach. Now in its 40th year, the Nihonmachi has expanded significantly and is expected to draw around 30,000 visitors. At this festival, you'll find multiple music stages, Asian artisans, nonprofit information tables, various types of Asian cuisine, and children’s crafts and games.
