Point Reyes Station Western Weekend

It's the 61st annual Western Weekend in Point Reyes Station, so dust off your cowboy boots and come into town!

Saturday, there's a free 4-H livestock show from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Dance Palace, followed by a barn dance -- complete with a dance caller and a queen coronation -- from 7 - 10 p.m. at Toby's Feed Barn (dance admission is $15 or $5 for kids).

Sunday, watch the parade of floats, marching bands, and all things West Marin from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. along Highway 1 in Point Reyes Station. Afterward, at 1 p.m., head to Toby's Feed Barn for chicken barbeque chili, cornbread, and a pie cook-off. There will also be music, activities, and a raffle.
