Ice Skating Downtown
Though Sacramento's winter temperatures rarely drop below freezing, the city maintains an outdoor ice rink near the Westfield Shopping Plaza from November - January.
Grab a hat and mittens, rent some skates, and test out your skills -- you don't need to be a Michelle Kwan or Wayne Gretzky to have a blast!
The rink is open every day except Christmas, provided the weather and ice conditions cooperate. Hours are Monday - Thursday from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., Friday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Check their website for special holiday hours.
