The 30th annual Louis Vuitton Cup, which determines who races in the America's Cup Finals, kicks off the on July 4 and continues through August. September begins with the first-ever Redbull Youth America's Cup featuring the best young sailors from around the world.

Off the Grid is a regular gathering of San Francisco street food vendors -- or, as they describe it, "a roaming mobile food extravaganza!"

This is a great chance to sample unusual and gourmet foods at cheap prices, and enjoy a little al fresco dining. Korean tacos, jambalaya, empanadas, onigiri, BBQ ribs, dim sum -- you'll be amazed at the tasty treats that can be made and sold from the back of a truck.

It's Mardi Gras all year long at the City Center Hostel! On Tuesdays, we serve up a housemade, New Orleans-style dinner. Come and enjoy some jambalaya and jazz with your fellow hostellers.

The $2 donation for the meal is given to Glide Memorial Church's programs for the homeless. Yummy and good for the world? Sounds delicious.
