Join Molly and a troupe of fellow travelers for an easy scenic hike, which ends with a spectacular view of the sun easing its way below and beyond the Pacific. Whether you’re walking the trail to the “hobbit hole” or along the Lagoon trail to Rodeo Beach, there’s a chance you may encounter a deer or an owl and hear the seals barking in the twilight over at the Marine Mammal Center.

After the walk, which usually doesn’t last more than an hour, guests are treated to hot chocolate back at the hostel.

This event is open to all guests at our three San Francisco hostels.

The Point Bonita Lighthouse is one of the Bay Area’s best kept secrets sitting pretty on a scenic overlook near Battery Wallace in the Marin Headlands. Every Saturday, Sunday and Monday, visitors can meet docents along the lighthouse trail for a guided tour of the beautiful and historic setting, used as a point to guide ships into the Golden Gate through the perilous waters of the Pacific. The half-mile trail goes through a tunnel and over a bridge to get to the lighthouse, and along the way, docents will share stories of what life was like manning this important station.

The food trucks are open every Sunday, rain or shine, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
